Old Age pension
Under the scheme pension is granted to woman of 58 years of age and above and to men of 65 years of age and above. Total annual income should not be more than Rs. 60,000/-.
Financial Assistant to Widows and Destitute Women
Under this scheme financial assistant is granted to widow/destitute woman of the age below 58 years of age and above and to men of 65 years of age and above. Total annual income should not be more than Rs. 60,000/-.
Financial Assistant to Widows and Dependent Children
Under this scheme financial assistant is granted to the children below the age of 21 years whose mother/father or both have passed away or parents regularly absent from home or have became physically /mentally incapacitated to look after the family. Total annual income should not be more than Rs. 60,000/-.
Financial Assistant to Persons with Disabilities
Under this scheme financial assistant is granted to blinds, handicapped, deaf and dumb and mentally retired persons who are unable to earn their live hood .handicapped persons who have less than 50%disability will not be eligible for financial assistance.
Indra Gandhi National Old Age pension Schemes (IGNOAPS)
The eligible age of IGNOAPS is 60 years; the pension is Rs.200 per month for persons between 60 years to 79 years. For persons who are 80years and above, the pension is Rs. 500/-per month.
Indra Gandhi National Widow pension Schemes (IGNWPS)
The eligible age is 40 years and the pension is Rs. 300 per month. After attaining the age of 80 years, the beneficiary will get Rs.500 per month.
Indra Gandhi National Widow pension Schemes (IGNDPS)
The eligible age is 18 years and above and the person with disability level has to be 80%.the amount is rs.300 per month and after attaining the age of 80 years, the beneficiary will get Rs. 500 per month.
National Family Benefits Scheme (NFBS)
Rs. 20,000/- will be given as a lump sum assistance to the bereaved household in the event of death of the bread –winner.
Senior citizen cared
The eligible age of this scheme is 60 years. Ladies and gents age 60 years or above provides senior citizen card.
