Qilla Mubarak

Qila Mubarak was originally built by Raja Mokalsi and later, refurbished and extended by Raka Hamir Singh. Raja Bikram Singh and Raja Balbir Singh added more to the construction. The complex of this old monument encompasses the Royal Palace, Tosha Khana, Modi Khana and Treasury. There is a garden within the four walls of the fort. Revered saint Baba Farid Ji is said to have served his first basket in the year 1215 during construction of the Qila within the building premises. A collection of vintage cars owned by the Rajas have also been displayed in an exclusive gallery and garners keen interest from visitors.
