OLD JAIL, FARIDKOT
The first Sikh President of India, Giani Zail Singh was held captive for five years by the British from 1938 to 1943 in the old jail at Faridkot city for backing the Praja Mandal Movement. The barrack has been in ruins after the jail was shifted outside of the city in 2014.
