Gurdwara Godavarisar Patshahi Dasvin village Dhillwan Kalan
This Gurudwara is located in the village of Dhillwan Kalan and is situated at a distance of 5 km from Kotkapura on Kotkapura-Bathinda Road. Guru Gobind Singh Ji, on his quest to garner support for fighting against the Mughal Army, is said to have stopped at village Dhilwan Kalan en route from Macchiwara. Locals fondly recall the story of how he bathed in the village Sarovar and changed into white clothes, handing over his blue robes to a Sodhi Kaul family with whom he stayed during his visit. The family is known to still have the clothes in their possession. It is said that Guru Gobind Singh ji himself named the village Sarovar as Godavari Sar and declared that taking a dip in this holy Sarovar is equal to taking a holy dip in the Godavari River.
